I called ahead, car was brought to the front of the store. Sales associate, came out and within 10 minutes we were on a test drive.
Made an out of area purchase of a new 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid. They were responsive in communication, straight forward, kept their word and made the transaction smooth. Everett our salesman was very polite, knowledgeable, communicative, and easy to work with. Overall positive experience all around.

The actual purchasing process left me frustrated and unlikely to return to any Russ Darrow location in the future. The finance representative used high pressure scare tactics to offer an extended warranty and after declining multiple times the price significantly reduced based on “discounts” we only loosely qualified for. These guys are great! I took my Kia Soul on for an oil change, wheel alignment and overall safety inspection. Oil change and alignment went as planned... no problems there. BUT they inspected the car underneath as well. Normal, right? But that's something that most of us don't get to see. You can pop the hood and see the engine, right? But not the undercarriage.

I appreciated the individuals we worked with and the questions asked to lead us to the right vehicle. We did end up going over our price range which was not ideal, and we did end not know this until we had gotten to the financial person. It would have been good to know the cost sooner. We still bought it so it worked out. We did end up noticing a potential issue with the car after getting it off the lot.

I want to specifically call out the sales manager involved in our experience, because the lack of professionalism was just as concerning as the condition of the vehicle.
After driving over 2 hours to see a “Certified” vehicle that was in unacceptable condition, not once did the manager apologize for the situation or acknowledge the time we wasted based on how the car was represented. The response was dismissive and filled with excuses instead of accountability.

Zach was straight forward and great to work with. He even went 140 miles to pick up my vehicle himself instead of sending someone else. That's customer service if you ask me! This is my second vehicle from this dealer and I enjoy the experience there.
