This dealership is the best, I went to Janesville Kia and the salesman didn’t know hardly anything about the Kia K5 and wasn’t honest about the price. If you want honest people, you need to go to Russ Darrow Kia of Madison, they have great knowledge, are willing to give you the best deal possible and when you leave, you will be very happy.

The team of Drake, Jonathan, and Michael pulled out the stops and located me a vehicle which I was seeking. Their dedication to ship a vehicle from another location to allow me to view it on a short demanding schedule was fantastic.

These guys stepped in when a different, unrelated Kia dealership dropped the ball. The Russ Darrow team was incredible and got us taken care of with knowledge, professionalism, and even fun. Great crew and great experience at Russ Darrow Madison!

I use the dealership out of convenience, but they are inconsistent with quality of service. For example, I had my engine coolant flushed and they refilled it below the minimum line and did not fix it when I called to let them know.

They got the work done on time and as they promised. Very happy with service.

The service advisor was pleasant and easy to talk to. The tech shared a video of the inspection. I’d love a more thorough video of some of the other things like fluids, exhaust, transmission, etc.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience leasing a new 2025 Kia Sportage plug-in hybrid X line. The whole process was seamless. Caleb Jenkins especially did a fantastic job as our sales rep. He was thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and very pleasant to work with. 10/10 The one critique I have about the process is that Ross Darrow automatically added the Zilon and diamond extra packages raising the price of the vehicle by $2000. There was apparently no way to opt out of those. Overall, very happy with our experience.

Very efficient and time consuming. Got done in a timely manner. Had play room and vending machines.

The staff are terrific at Russ Darrow Kia, they are patient and provide timely professional assistance!

They need to know more about phev's. Service and mechanic did not understand the battery level. Had to wait another day till someone who understood came in.

I came in for express service and Eric was able to get me right in, they did a great job and had me out in a very reasonable amount of time. Very friendly and thorough and explaining the service.

I came in to see about an issue with gears getting stuck and a rattle, and was told it was the transmission, which they would only replace. I agreed to the fix as I was told that was the problem I was having, and the $3000 dollar repair didn’t fix the issue I brought my car in for. I was assured the car drove fine, but within 48 hours it was the same as before. I have called over multiple days and left messages with the dealer, but haven’t received any response.

Went for service and was told it would take 2-3 hours. I waited for over 5 hours and had to ask for the car wash at the end even though they said they would do it at the beginning. The guy at the front sales desk (not service desk) rolled his eyes at me when I asked for the car wash I was promised.

Overall the experience as a customer for the service department was worthy of 5 stars. However, the children’s area isn’t great, especially if you’re a family who doesn’t give their kids a screen everywhere you go.

The service writer was very friendly and explained everything well. The only issue I have is with the cost of an oil change. A hundred dollars is to high for a simple maintenance issue.

Our salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, helping us find the right vehicle for us. When it came to signing paperwork, they were overly persistent when trying to sell their extended warranty and would almost not take no for an answer.

I was in a hurry so I appreciated how quickly they got the work done.

Disappointed that I made an appt for oil change, tire rotation, and get a recall notice taken care of. After 2 hours they came out and said they didn’t have the part for the recall.

Greeted right away by Everett who helped thru all our questions and helped us confirm we had the right vehicle for our family (the Carnival SX). With having our kids with us, it was good to have the kids room and place for them to sit. The popcorn and coffee/hot cocoa was a nice plus too :). All in all, good experience all around.

The service was professional and friendly. My vehicle was checked in promptly and I was able to view the mechanic’s inspection on my phone. Totally satisfied with the experience.

Oil change and system updates shouldn’t take 2.5 hours. Or a heads up about the time involved would have been nice. Also not having the recall parts in hand was frustrating to say the least.
